What got me thinking is Neutrality.
I often hear people say "That's not my problem" or "I don't want to choose between them" when its time to do the right thing.
Maybe it is the smart thing to do sometimes. But I believe when people really have to make a choice, it is often because that choice, is part of the solution.
Which mean, by staying neutral and not contributing to the solution, they become part of the problem.
And it seems, I am not the only one who believe in that.
" Washing one's hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral." ~ Paulo Freire
"People who demand neutrality in any situation are usually not neutral but in favor of the status quo." ~ Max Eastman
" If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality." ~ Bishop Desmond Tutu
Even if its just once. Do the right thing.
